Usage and Dosage:

The recommended dose of terdiazolamide phosphate for patients 18 years of age or older is an intravenous infusion of

200 mg once daily for 6 consecutive days.

If a dose is missed, patients should make up the dose as soon as possible, any time up to 8 hours before the next scheduled dose.

If the next dose is less than 8 hours away, wait until the next scheduled dose.

Indication:

Acute Bacterial Skin and Soft Tissue Infections.

Indicated for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and soft tissue skin infections (ABSSSI) caused by susceptible isolates of the following Gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus [MRSA] and methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus MSSA] isolates), Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus anisus, Streptococcus aureus group (including Streptococcus aureus, Streptococcus intermedius and Streptococcus constellatus) and Enterococcus faecalis.
