Usage and Dosage:

Adults, Elderly, Adolescents, and Children:Dosage depends on patient's age, weight, clinical signs and biology, and concomitant therapy.

For intravenous infusion only.

This product may be used for peripheral intravenous infusion. If administered by rapid infusion under pressure, all air must be withdrawn from the plastic container and infusion apparatus prior to infusion or there is a risk of air embolism during infusion. Indicators of fluid balance, plasma electrolyte concentrations, and pH must be monitored during administration. The product may be given as soon as indications for rehydration are present.

Indication:

This product is used to treat isotonic dehydration accompanied by or in anticipation of acidosis and to replace the loss of extracellular fluid.
