Indication:

Argatroban is clinically indicated for:

1. Acute ischemic stroke;

2. Chronic peripheral arterial occlusive disease;

3. Adjuvant therapy of thrombolysis in patients with myocardial infarction;

4. Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and thrombotic syndrome. The use of this drug needs to pay attention to patients with severe hypertension, spinal anesthesia, especially after major surgery; patients with hepatic insufficiency who need to use Argatroban are recommended to reduce the dose. No dose adjustment is required in the elderly and patients with renal insufficiency taking Argatroban.
