Indication:

Levofloxacin oral formulation and injection can be used to treat the following mild, moderate, and severe infections in adults (≥18 years of age) caused by sensitive strains of the following bacteria. Levofloxacin injection may be used when intravenous infusion is more beneficial to the patient (e.g., if the patient cannot tolerate oral administration, etc.):

1. hospital-acquired pneumonia

2. community-acquired pneumonia

3. acute bacterial sinusitis

4. acute bacterial episodes of chronic bronchitis

5. complicated skin and skin structure infections

6. uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections

7. chronic bacterial prostatitis

8. complicated Urinary tract infection

9. acute pyelonephritis

10. uncomplicated urinary tract infection

11. inhalational anthrax (post-exposure)
